UI Data Export Guide

Background

The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of where end users may perform a data export (as a .csv file that is stored on the requesting user’s local machine) in SORMAS.  The focus is exclusively on the front-end/user interface of the application and does not include exports that may be conducted through an Application Programming Interface (API) or external application that accesses the database directly.  The necessary user rights to perform the associated export are also listed at the respective section.

Dashboard

To access the exports on the Dashboard:

  1. Dashboard > Surveillance > Epidemiological Curve >

No personal data is included in these exports – only aggregated graph data is exported in the provided formats.

To access the exports on the Tasks directory:

Tasks > Export > Basic Export, Detailed Export, Custom Export

Statistics > Database Export

Data available for export (full access):

User rights needed:

Statistics | Export detailed statistics from SORMAS, Access statistics.
Export | Export the whole database, Export data protection data.

 

Users

To access the exports on the Users directory:

Users > User Roles > Export User Roles

 

Data available for export (full access):

User role, Jurisdiction level, Description, Uuid

 

User rights needed:

Users | View existing users, View existing user roles.
